New Moon Friday, April 17, 14:51, Bucharest. Aries ♈️, 27°28’.
It is said that on Easter—the day Jesus was resurrected—it is tradition to wear something new. Holy scriptures make frequent reference to “clothing,” and this concept has been taken literally by humanity, following a direction induced by society.
“Something new” can be anything new, including the intention to change, for example, an old behavior into a new one.
The holy books also state that the day of rest is Saturday, not Sunday as society has led us to believe. This would mean that Sunday is actually the first day of the week.
What does all of this have to do with the New Moon on April 17? You will find out below.
This New Moon forms exactly at 27°28’ Aries.
Even though Aries ♈️ is the very first sign of the zodiac — the sign of pure beginnings, House 1 — in the chart of this New Moon, it falls in the 9th House.
This New Moon therefore takes the raw, pioneering energy of Aries (new identity, initiative, courage, physical body, life force) and lifts it into a much bigger, philosophical dimension. We’re not just starting something small and personal. We’re consciously (or unconsciously) stepping into new actions and endeavors using fresh “ingredients.” We bring in philosophy, beliefs, long-distance travel, higher education, publishing, connections with foreign countries, worldview, and expansion of consciousness.
It’s not merely a “personal new beginning.” It’s a recalibration of the meaning of our individual life, now aligned with the collective.
Sabian Symbol for the New Moon (28° Aries): “A large audience confronts the performer who has failed to meet their expectations.”
Is humanity (the collective) disappointed by what it has allowed to happen through its own choices and by the power it has handed over to the “performers” in its life — both personally and on a larger scale?
This brings a strong need for maturity, honest self-criticism, and conscious preparation. We’re learning that great hopes and enthusiastic expectations cannot be sustained forever by anyone or anything. The performer can promise the world, but if they act only for external validation, collective disappointment inevitably follows.
The degree 27°28’ warns us that impulsive, ego-driven, or unprepared initiatives will lead to disappointing results.
We are being asked to align our actions with inner integrity and the knowledge we already possess — not with the need for outside approval.
We’re encouraged to take full responsibility for the promises we’ve made to ourselves. This is a moment of sacred humility. Disappointment is shown to us as a mirror, revealing where we have betrayed our alignment with the Divine.
To become heroes for others, we must first become the heroes of our own destiny — with genuine humility and authentic power.
It’s a profound lesson in detaching from ego and seeing the real truth, not the one we’ve imagined.
The massive planetary pile-up in Aries brings powerful momentum to this moment and to everything we will do in the coming six months.
We are supported to start a completely new direction — an ideal we’ve been nurturing in thought form. We now have the energy for structure and organization. The timing feels right. We feel ready for whatever we set our minds to. Finally, fear loosens its grip; we are healing from our fears. Results appear quickly and clearly show us what needs to be done and where.
We have initiative in vision and belief. Jupiter in the 12th House offers spiritual protection, expansion of intuition, and healing through solitude or retreat. It is divine support for the Aries stellium. Practically, any dream, desire, or ideal can become reality simply through faith.
The Leo Ascendant highlights the collective need for new, authentic leaders — and it also amplifies the theme “I am the leader of my own life.”
Anaretic Uranus in Taurus can trigger sudden changes in career, public life, our relationship with stability, material values, and finances.
Pluto in Aquarius is working deeply on transforming partnerships. It acts in service of Divine Will. Relationships are changing and will have a collective impact (sometimes within our closer circles).
Many will feel a strong urge to rewrite their life story — identity, beliefs, spiritual or physical journeys. This is the “birth” of a new cycle, a new chapter of life born from experience, growth, and personal evolution.
The strongest impact will be on the self. We want to become new. We heal and mature through courageous action. We free ourselves from material attachments tied to self-worth and begin to accept the flow of life by releasing the need for control. Relationships become catalysts for power; we form strategic partnerships and alliances.
What to do:
• Set clear intentions aligned with your personal values.
• Act with courage and make the plan as you go.
• Travel, study, do anything that expands your vision and your life.
• Heal identity wounds through conscious, courageous action.
• Connect with your higher self through meditation, prayer, or any practice that links you to intuition.
What to avoid:
• Impulsive action without preparation (high risk of disappointment).
• Seeking external validation.
• Excessive ego-centrism or aggression.
• Ignoring intuitive signs.
At the end of this, I invite you to release your current limited identities and give yourselves the chance to become new beings, aligned with soulful care.
What we do now will grow and unfold over the next six months (until the Full Moon in Libra ♎️).
With wisdom and to wisdom,
Yours, Iris! ❤️🔥
