Let’s talk about… Scorpio!

We are in Scorpio season, which generally spans from October 23 to November 21. This time is wrapped in intensity, transformation, and deep emotional vibes.

The Scorpio archetype is that of the Transformer or the Shadow Healer.

In ancient mythology, the Scorpion is linked to the scorpion that stung Orion, symbolizing revenge, death, and rebirth. In astrology, it represents the cycle of death and regeneration—like rising from the ashes. Both metaphorically and in real life, whatever “dies” now transforms into an evolved form, with a focus on smart action and personal power.

Its archetype evokes mystery, hidden inner strength, and the ability to dive into the depths of the human psyche. Scorpio is the guardian of secrets, the explorer of darkness, who turns pain into power and fear into courage.

Elements and Traits
Scorpio is a fixed water sign, traditionally ruled by Mars (the warrior, action) and modernly by Pluto (transformation, occult power). It has a deeply emotional, intuitive, and sensitive nature. Its fixed quality makes it persistent and resistant to change—until it decides to transform radically.
A true Scorpio ♏️ shows up with:
• Intensity and passion: Lives everything to the fullest, from love to ambition.
• Loyalty: A friend for life once you’ve earned their trust.
• Sharp intuition: Spots omissions, lies 😂, and all hidden motives in a heartbeat. 🤨
• Determination: Turns obstacles into opportunities—eventually, after pushing through that initial resistance crisis.
• Regenerative power: Gets stronger every time they face a tough moment.
• Jealousy and possessiveness: Out of distrust, can trigger some seriously impactful emotions. 🤭
• Revenge: Doesn’t forget betrayals (easily or at all) and might strike back when you least expect it. 😉🫣
• Hides emotions, which leads to a desire to isolate temporarily until they process and understand their own needs. Then they regenerate and step back into the light.
• Manipulation: Uses what they know about others to control situations—and those “others.”
A true Scorpio ♏️ loves:
• Depth in relationships: Intimate conversations, soul connections—no superficial nonsense. Otherwise, they get super bored.
• Mystery and investigative adventure: Exploring the occult, psychology, scenarios, or activities like diving deep, penetrating the unknown, investigations (of others first, then themselves).
• Power and control: Loves behind-the-scenes leadership roles where they can influence without being in the spotlight—from the shadows.
• Sensuality: Drawn to passionate experiences in their areas of interest.
• Personal transformation: Tries various therapies, meditation, or extreme sports that challenge them.
A true Scorpio ♏️ doesn’t love:
• Superficiality: People and situations without depth. They won’t even bother giving the slightest attention. 🤭
• Betrayal: Seriously, run for your life from theirs. Any form of deception hurts them deeply, and they’ll find you one way or another. Life usually helps with that. 😂
• Lack of control: Creates chaos and unpredictability, driving them nuts. It basically kicks off a whole system ready to whip up an artificial hurricane. 😂
• Forced emotional exposure: Hates being vulnerable in public; prefers working from the shadows, where they feel perfectly in their element.
• Banal routine: Prefers intensity over daily monotony—but an intensity they’re familiar with, that feels like home.

Focus
In Scorpio season, it’s ideal to concentrate on inner transformation and releasing old traumas or hidden fears. Or at least become aware of them. In relationships, build mutual trust; professionally, invest in projects involving research, strategy, or crisis management.

Accessing and Using the Energy Through Its Rulers: Pluto and Mars
Mars (traditional ruler): In Scorpio, Mars isn’t the impulsive warrior from Aries; it takes on strategic, calculated, observant, tactical energy—acting only when the plan is fully formed. Scorpios can tap into this through intense, tactical, controlled physical activities like martial arts, chess, or strategic strength training to release pent-up tension. This teaches constructive use of energy for just causes, not personal conflicts: wait, observe, calculate, then act decisively.
Pluto (modern ruler): Symbolizes power, regeneration, and the occult. Access it by exploring the subconscious—therapy, lucid dreaming, astrology, psychology, or sciences studying the subconscious. Use it for major transformations: ditching toxic habits, reinventing your career, or healing relationships.

Together, Mars provides the strategic, calculated initial impulse; Pluto brings the depth, desire, and willpower for lasting change.

In the zodiac wheel, Scorpio is the 8th sign, associated with the 8th house (transformation, death/rebirth, sex, shared resources and their management). For the other zodiac signs, Scorpio ♏️ brings at least one supportive element:
• For Aries (shared Mars): Lesson in patience and strategy in action.
• For Taurus (opposite): Balance between possessiveness and material release/action.
• For Gemini: Depth in communication, not superficiality.
• For Cancer: Shared emotional intensity, but focused on healing.
• For Leo: Humility, inner power over external ego.
• For Virgo: Exploring emotional chaos beyond order and discipline.
• For Libra: Depth in relationships, not just surface harmony and tolerance.
• For Sagittarius: Authentic mystery and curiosity beyond open adventure.
• For Capricorn: Hidden power in structured ambition, directed toward a concrete goal.
• For Aquarius: Deep emotions in creating innovation with detachment and natural flow.
• For Pisces: Accessing and channeling intuition into practical transformation and manifestation.

In the end, through this sign’s energy, we all learn to embrace our shadows, using their power constructively and transforming them into sources of evolution (purpose, manifestation, practice, perseverance, and achieving results).

In this season, I invite you—from heart to heart—to allow yourself to feel and be felt, to see and be seen, to love and be loved. Dive into the depth. You might just love it!

From Iris, with l o v e ! ♥️
