24 days until Christmas. Here we are, sliding toward the finish line of 2025.
I don’t know about you, but for me this year has been FULL. Easy? Hmm… let’s not kid ourselves. What made the real difference was how I chose to relate to that fullness – arms wide open, even when they felt like they were carrying bricks 🙂.
And now comes this December, loaded with mutable energy. The kind that makes it hard to sit still or feel like you truly belong anywhere, plus a constant need (or straight-up necessity) to keep moving – and no, not the fun, dance-all-night kind of moving.

The big planetary retrogrades have already done their thing. What’s left:
• Uranus Rx in Taurus ♉️ putting the final touches on a complete overhaul of our material value system, right before it moves into Gemini for good.
• Jupiter Rx in Cancer ♋️ reminding us about the love and sense of home we carry inside, and about our roots/family of origin.
• Chiron Rx in Aries ♈️ making us relive certain identity chapters so we can finally heal them, own them as individuals, and claim true independence… or keep dragging that pain around for years to come.

This month, Sagittarius ♐️ gets absolutely packed with planets. Fire sign, mutable, ruled by Jupiter who’s currently retrograde in watery cardinal Cancer. This combo is perfect for learning the big lesson: real freedom isn’t always doing whatever the heck we want or being alone. Sometimes freedom looks like showing up exactly where you’re needed – even if it’s not where you’d choose to be – and giving yourself to others without losing yourself in the process.

From December 1st to 15th we’ll have no fewer than three personal planets in Sagittarius (Venus, Mercury, Mars) plus the Sun. Mars leaves Sagittarius on the 15th, but five days later, on December 20th, rebellious Lilith struts in: Ding 🛎️ Ding 🛎️! So yeah, Sagittarius stays lit the entire month.
On top of that, the nodal axis is still on the mutable signs (Virgo ♍️ – Pisces ♓️), Gemini ♊️ gets activated by Mercury entering Sagittarius on the 12th, plus a bunch of lunar action.
Challenges will either come out of us, or we’ll walk straight out of them. Or both. Especially for anyone with strong mutable energy in their natal chart.
How – and why – are we using knowledge and faith? Have we truly blended the two?

December 1–14
Pure adrenaline. We’ll be all over the place: doing a million things, feeling everything at 200%, changing our minds changing every five minutes, falling in love, falling out again, talking non-stop, trying to convince everyone how brilliant and amazing we are, full of confidence, making plans and scenarios (not all of them rosy), getting sucked into illusions or fantasies, becoming borderline obsessed with what we want, and surprisingly open to deep transformation.

On December 5th we have a Full Moon in Gemini – another big mutable activation. Short trips, public encounters, risk of double-talk or split energy in different areas, closures, endings, possible redefinition of how we communicate, move around, or study.

Second half of December
Now we actually start living the adrenaline we built up earlier. Movement feels restricted, we give up (or are forced to give up) certain pleasures for the sake of others, responsibilities and obstacles pop up, we confuse empathy with self-sacrifice, we hold back in communication, and when we do speak it sometimes comes from a need to control or to place ourselves “above” others.

On December 20th we have a New Moon in Sagittarius in tense aspect with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. This one hits deep on family themes and the emotional patterns we inherited. The Moon rules Cancer (currently hosting retrograde Jupiter), and Jupiter rules both Sagittarius and Pisces. So the big questions become: How dependent or independent are we from family? What inherited baggage do we need to transform or finally drop because it no longer serves us and is actually holding us back?
(I’ll do separate posts about the energies of the Full Moon and New Moon because, with all this mutable intensity, they’ll colour every single day of the month.)

Toward the very end of December, certain behaviours can create real tension – especially because Lilith shifts the vibe exactly one day before the Winter Solstice on December 21st, 2025 (also to be detailed separately).

So, for the whole of December my recommendation is simple:
Keep your heart high, high, high. Stay away – as much as you can – from anything or anyone that feels toxic to you personally. Both Sagittarius and Pisces share a direct line to divine wisdom and the Ultimate Source. This is the perfect month to grow in kindness and genuine humility, so we can close the year gently with ourselves.
And yet… when kindness is met with contempt or disrespect, you have full cosmic permission to channel whichever fire archetype feels right. 🔥

In the meantime, let’s soak up the magic this month always brings – the magic of winter holidays, heavenly music, baubles and twinkly lights, fireworks and glitter everywhere.
In December, not a single day without kisses sprinkled with… glitter! 🤭🥰
